A very astonishing and full of flavour dish with tomato base which is basically a classical French recipe accompanied with grilled mushrooms and potatoes. Try it out and have fun.
Chicken Breast 1
Button Mushrooms 4-5
Tomato Puree 4 Tsbp
Potatoes (diced) 2
Red wine 1 dash
Salt To taste
Pepper To taste
All purpose flour 100 gms
Olive Oil 2 tsbp
Butter 2 Tsbp
Onion (chopped) 1
Garlic (chopped) 4 cloves
Chicken Stock 1 cup
Parsley and Tarragon For Garnish
1. Marinade the chicken in flour , salt and pepper and mix well, keep aside for 10 minutes.
2. Take a pan, heat the oil and put in the chicken and simmer for 8- 10 mins. Keep stirring and add garlic, tomato puree and let it cook for 5-7 mins. After that put red wine.
3. Take another pan, heat some oil and put some garlic, sautee it and then add sliced mushrooms into the pan, and sautee until soft. Add the chopped onion and sautee together until the onions are golden brown.
4.Now back to first pan, check the seasoning and put everything in one pan, mix well and put tarragon.
5. Served with butter tossed potatoes and garnish your chicken chasseur with parsley.
